Dates are a type of fruit that is cultivated in tropical regions. It has many types. Piarom dates are one of the most luxurious and best export dates. Piarom is mostly produced in the Hajiabad in the south of Iran and in Hormozgan province. It is one of the most expensive dates and is also known as Maryam dates or chocolate dates in the world markets.
This date shell is thin, brown or black. Its flesh and seed are stuck together and have a very beautiful shape. Its humidity is lower than other types of dates. For this reason, it is included in the group of semi-dried dates and it is considered the most delicious type of semi-dried dates. Since Iranian Piarom dates do not need refrigeration for transportation and storage, it is a suitable product for exporters and traders.
