Solid paraffin or paraffin wax is a mixture of saturated hydrocarbons with a high number of carbon atoms, which can be found in solid (wax) and liquid forms. Solid paraffin are divided into two categories. The first category is light paraffin (macro crystal) and the second category is heavy paraffin (micro crystal). Solid paraffin for coating tablets, and also as one of the important ingredients in the production of various creams, lotions and lipsticks. Paraffin is also used in the production of tires to insulate against the ozone layer and also prevent the tire from bursting and wearing. Paraffin wax is also used in match making, candle making, food, and textile, paper making and paint industries
