The Hannover Messe has been a must-attend event for industrial Iranians for many years. AHK Iran organized an online webinar on the sidelines of Hannover Messe on 07 April 2021, to deepen trade relations between Iran and Germany.
There, participants were familiarized with the many benefits of participating in Hannover Messe and interested parties received general information on the importance and significance of the fair, but also on how to use the exhibition platform, on the one hand to have the opportunity to participate in many different professional forums and on the other hand to get in touch with suitable business partners and meet them online.
This year’s Hannover Messe once again presented itself virtually to a large audience in the age of COVID-19. The new format was called Hannover Messe Digital Edition and took place from April 12-16, 2021.
So AHK Iran offered more than 80 Iranian interested parties the opportunity to receive an e-ticket for this year’s Hannover Messe to be able to participate in the exhibition online. They also used the online platform for personal online conversations to exchange knowledge and experiences.
Key topics raised at Hannover Messe this year: AI and machine learning, robotics, Industry 4.0, C02-neutral production, Logistics 4.0 and solutions for the e-mobility of the future-these. These have been at the at the center of discussions on how to master the challenges of industrial transformation.
Solutions for future power plants and systems were also presented in the digital version of the Hannover Messe by more than 1,800 exhibitors.
With 750 exhibitor streamings, 750 product videos and 11 exhibitor channels, visitors were offered an exclusive program with best-case applications, video tutorials or video chats in which information was provided on concrete solution approaches for the optimization of industrial processes.
Some 7,000 products were on display, including 1,700 trade show premieres and close to 400 research and development projects. The world’s leading industrial trade fair remains the central platform for innovations and solutions related to industrial transformation, even in times of Corona.
